Gorilla Trekking Tips

Permits cost $1,500 per person and must be booked months in advance. The trek can take 2-6 hours depending on where the gorilla family has moved. Wear sturdy hiking boots, bring rain gear, and hire a porter to support the local community.

Gorilla permits are limited to 96 per day. Book 3-6 months in advance through the Rwanda Development Board or let us secure your permit as part of a complete trekking package.
